Thai Nippon Steel and Sumikin Engineering and Construction Corporation Limited (TNS) is operated the business of engineering, construction, installation and system connection. It is a joint venture of Japanese capital group and Italian-Thai Development Public Company Limited (ITD) holding shares of 49 percent and 51 percent.

Over the past 30 years, the Company has always focused on the Code of Conduct for Petroleum Professionals, which is always brought success to the Company sustainably. Recently, the Company held its 30^th anniversary under the theme “30 Years of Sustainable Success” at the Okura Prestige Bangkok. Mr. Siri Jirapongpun, the Minister of Energy, presided over the opening ceremony. Mr. Akihiro Suzuki, Chief Executive Officer of Thai Nippon Steel Company Limited (TNS), and Mr. Chinichi Fujiwara, President of Nippon Steel and Sumikin Engineering (NSENGI), welcomes the key guests in the petroleum exploration and production industries such as Mr. Cherdpong Siriwit, former Permanent Secretary of Energy, Mr. Kurujit Nakornthap, former Permanent Secretary of Energy and Director General of the Department of Mineral Fuels, Mr. Krairit Nilkuha, former Director General of the Department of Mineral Fuels, Mr. Songpop Pholchan, former Director General of the Department of Mineral Fuels, Mrs. Puangthip Silpasart, former Director General of the Department of Mineral Fuels, Mr. Veerasak Pungrassamee, Director General of the Department of Mineral Fuels, Mr. Pongsathorn Taweesin, President of PTT Exploration and Production Public Company Limited (PTTEP), and Mr. Pairoj Kaweeyanun, President of Chevron Thailand Exploration and Production Co., Ltd.

The Company is the first company in Thailand to provide petroleum production platforms to energy industries and companies. It has been recognized by many organizations which made the Company continuous growth. The launch of the Company over the past 30 years has been a success. However, the Company continues to improve its quality unboundedly with the ambition to create a bright future for the world.

TNS was established in 1987 as a leader in steel business for industrial factory and engineering, maintenance involved in petroleum drilling platform in the ocean. The major projects in Thailand which the Company has participated are Bongkot Athit Project of PTTEP and projects of Mubadala and Salamander Company etc.

Mr. Akihiro Suzuki is the representative of Nippon Steel and Sumikin Engineering to get such award as the implementation of the project has no injuries record. The Company was awarded this award for 2 consecutive years. It can guarantee that the Company is well placed in the employee welfare, safety and the most effective work.

The informed source said that since the first natural gas production in the Gulf of Thailand in 1980, the Company has been a part of the oil and gas industry development through our construction expertise as the first manufacturer of machinery in Thailand.
