The dim sum selection at Summer Palace includes long-time Cantonese favourites such as shumai (pork dumplings), and pao (steamed filled bun), along with specials created by the dim sum chefs such as steamed prawn dumplings, chilled jellyfish and marinated drunken chicken, barbecued pork with honey, and baked barbecued pork pastries with parmesan cheese.
On the à la carte menu are classics like steamed seafood and sticky rice balls, snow fish stuffed with shrimp mousse, steamed pork dumplings with shrimp roe, and steamed seafood dumplings with XO sauce topped with caviar.
